यो साँझ म केही हृदयविदारक हरफहरु लेख्न सक्छु,
जस्तो कि
चकमन्न रातमा दूर नील आकाशका
नीला ताराहरु चल्मलाइरहेका छन् ।
रात्रीकालीन सिर्सिरे बतास आफ्नै गुञ्जनभित्रै
सुस्ताइरहेको छ ,
यो साँझ म मन छुने हरफहरु लेख्न सक्छु,
जस्तो कि
मैले उनलाई चोखो प्रेम गरेँ
र उनलेे पनि सायद गरिन् कुनै बेला ।
यस्तै रातहरुमध्ये एकरात
असीमित खुला आकाशमुनि
मैले उनलाई अंगालोमा टाँसेर
लगातार चुम्बन गरिरहेँ... गरिरहेँ.....
उनले मलाई निर्धक्क माया गरिन्,
मैले पनि झन् बढी,
उनका रिठ्ठा जस्ता लजालु नयनलाई
कसैले पनि प्रेम नगरोस्,
यो कसरी सम्भव थियो ?
त्यसैले उनी बिनाको अधुरो म
यो साँझ मन छुने केही
दुखान्त हरफहरु लेख्न सक्छु,
म महशुस गर्नसक्छु तर व्यक्त गर्न सक्दिन
उनलाई गुमाएको बिचरा म....
यो सन्नाटामय चिसो लामो रात
उनीबिना झन् लम्बेतान बन्छ,
मानौ एकनासले मेरो स्पन्दनमा
कविताको झन्कार सुनिन्छ
दुबोमाथि शीत टप्किए जस्तो ।
के फरक पर्ला र !
जब मेरो मायाले उनलाई साथ राख्न सकिन,
रातसंग त ताराहरु छन् तर उनी छैनन् मसंग ।
यत्ति हो कि, दूर नेपथ्यमा
कोही गुन्गुनाइरहेछ दूर नेपथ्यमा
यद्यपि,
पटक्कै मान्दैन यो मन गुमाएँ उनीलाई ।
यी आँखाहरुले उनलाई हर्पल
समीपमा खोज्छन्,
मनै त हो चाहन्छ उनैलाई जो छैनन् निकटमा ।
यो रात उस्तै छ,
साक्षी छन् ती स्वेतवृक्षहरु,
तथापि
उस्तै रहेनौँ हामी यो पृथक कालखण्डमा ।
निसन्देह,
उनलाई किमार्थ माया गर्दिन म
र पनि सधै माया गरिरहन्छु..
किनकि, क्षणिक प्रेमको बिर्साइ अनन्त जो छ ।
